Green Initiative
We at SRG hold the environment in great regard. The company has installed wind Mills and solar power to the tune of 7.50MW for captive consumption thus becoming 75% self- reliant in power needs. It further strives to become 100% self reliant by the year 2022.
SRG was a part of the GreenCo Summit 2018 by CII - Godrej Green Business Centre. Based upon the findings from the GreenCo assessment, “SRG Apparels Limited, Spinning Division” has been rated “GreenCo Gold”and SRG Apparels Limited, Garments Unit C” has been rated “GreenCo Silver”.
To further its commitment it has framed a Green Policy :

We at SRG Apparels Ltd, aim to continuously improve our environmental performance, considering the impact of our processes on the environment and move towards being an ‘ECO-FRIENDLY’ organization.
Comply with the applicable legal, statutory and other environmental requirements
Reduce our specific fresh water consumption, thermal and electrical energy consumption
Work towards setting practical, specific goals for energy, water and waste reduction that will show measurable results in the future
Prevent or minimize pollution at source
Reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions produced created by company practices, as well as product production and transportation
Adopt innovative techniques and technology for effective use of energy
Instill renewable energy at all our units to offset energy consumed
Employ the policy “reduce, reuse, recycle”
Train our employees in the best practices for efficient use of energy(electrical, thermal, water, materials)
